When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle there are some products that we recommend that will help you along your way. All of these products are things we have either used ourselves or personally own.

Kitchen Scale:

You can weight up to 11 pounds, it it precise to within a gram, has a bunch of easy to use features and comes with batteries. It also looks really nice on my counter. We have had ours for about 2 years with no problems. This is highly recommended.

Bathroom Scales:

This is kind of a no-brainer but you should have a scale so that you can keep track of your progress. Scales do not vary too much from model to model. The main difference with scales is whether or not they have a digital display or not. This particular scale is digital and it lets you get measure your weight without having to activate first by stepping on it. It has a big, easy to read display and use 3 ounce increments for added accuracy. This is an awesome scale for the price.

One cool feature that you can get with scales is the ability to measure your body fat percentage as well. This helps you to more accurately track how much weight you are losing. For example, if you haven’t been working out and you start an exercise program you might lose 8lbs of fat and gain 10lbs of muscle your first month. If you get on the scale you might think it is not working for you because you gained 2 lbs. However, this is not true as you should appear much leaner and have a nicer build. The best way to tell your true results from a diet and exercise regime is to measure your body fat percentage. It is important to note that in-home body fat measurement tools are not as accurate as professionally administered body fat measurement devices. However they are generally accurate within 2 – 3%. I have been using the same body fat measurement device for a couple years and has always been a useful gauge for what my body fat percentage is.

Body Fat Monitor:

I have been using this device for about three years to measure my body fat percentage. This device has been very accurate for me and for the many people who want to use it. Yes, this is a very popular gadget that everyone wants a turn with. It is easy to use and set up and you can get a reading in about 10 seconds.

Vegetable Slicer:

When I worked in a restaurant years ago, this is what we used to slice vegetables for our salad bar. When I started eating healthy and preparing vegetables more often I specifically set out to find one of these. I was surprised how cheap it was. This slicer is not a gimmick. It cuts vegetables quickly and evenly. I use this mostly for onions, carrots, cucumbers and carrots but it can slice anything. It is also easy to clean.
